If you have already bought Abel for your Windows PC, and just want to update to the latest version, you can get a free update from the downloads page.
You can buy Abel immediately as a download, or you can order it on a CD. The price is £20 (20 pounds sterling) for a download, and £22 (22 pounds sterling) for a CD (including post and packing). All profits from the sale of Abel go to charity, including ringing charities.
On a broadband line an Abel download should take only a minute or so, but on a dial up line it would take a very long time. We therefore recommend that people without a broadband internet connection should buy Abel on a CD (see below). We also recommend buying the CD if your computer runs Windows 95 or an early version of Windows 98, because the CD contains some extra software that may be needed on these elderly systems.
After installation, Abel may need up to 300MB of disk space (mostly for Moving Ringer graphics).
The Abel download is about 89MB, and includes graphics for eight Moving Ringers. After you have installed Abel, you can get a separate (free) download of another four Ringers from the Downloads page of the AbelSim website.
An Abel download costs £20, which you pay via PayPal's secure website. You can pay by credit/debit card, or from a PayPal account if you have one. If you use a non-UK card or account, PayPal will tell you the price in your local currency.

If the download fails for any reason, send email to support@abelsim.co.uk quoting the "Transaction ID" or "Receipt Number" from your PayPal receipt (emailed to you by PayPal). We will then send you instructions on how to repeat the download.
